Faith is a living, bold trust in God's grace, so certain of God's favor that it would risk death a thousand times trusting in it. Such confidence and knowledge of God's grace makes you happy, joyful and bold in your relationship to God and all creatures. The Holy Spirit makes this happen through faith. Because of it, you freely, willingly and joyfully do good to everyone, serve everyone, suffer all kinds of things, love and praise the God who has shown you such grace. - Martin Luther

Great American Backyard Camp Out!

If the weather holds, CtK will be participating in the Great American Backyard Camp Out tomorrow night, Saturday, June 25th. Folks will start to gather on the congregation's lawn at 5pm, pitch tents, grill dinner and make s'mores! (Please bring your own camping gear and food). Then they'll spend the night under the stars and get up in time for OUTDOOR WORSHIP on Sunday morning.
Even if you aren't planning on spending the night, consider bringing a camp chair or picnic blanket to sit on during worship on Sunday morning (not to mention sunblock or a hat!).
Let's enjoy God's beautiful creation together!

The camp out was fun! The Andrerson's tent was still up during the outdoor Sunday service, the morning after the campout.

Eating together and toasting s'mores while looking at the beautiful Bridger Mountains was awesome.

Kids were running around playing hide and seek in the dusk of evening, and then scurried under covrer to play games in the tent when raindrops and darkness fell.
